In conjunction with the Coastal Biodiversity Study, CER are undertaking a mapping exercise of the coastal environment of Abu Dhabi Emirate using remote sensed data from satellites and aircraft. The project aims to identify the various natural habitats in the coastal zone, and to assess likely impact from existing or proposed activities. This data will contribute towards the production of a Marine Atlas and a coastal management plan for Abu Dhabi Emirate.
